SBA Payroll Protection Program

President Trump signed the CARES act on Friday, March 27, 2020 which provided over $2 trillion of economic stimulus.  Part of this stimulus is a Payroll Protection Program (PPP) that provides for loans to businesses to help keep workers employed during the COVID-19 crisis.

The program is administered through the Small Business Administration.  Heartland National Bank is applying to be able to participate in this program.

This program allows for a loan for up to 2.5x your average monthly payroll in order to cover payroll costs, rent, mortgage interest, or utility payments.
